I am a Japanese spirits importer based in Utrecht, specializing in Sake, Shochu and Japanese Gin. Four years ago, I moved from Japan to the Netherlands to start this business.
Shochu and Japanese Gin are gaining worldwide attention from spirit enthusiasts and connoisseurs, representing the next wave of premium Japanese craft spirits beyond sake.
As a passionate advocate for Japanese distilling traditions, I bring hands-on experience from working with distilleries in Japan, combined with deep knowledge of these unique spirits. Shochu, Japan's most consumed spirit, offers incredible diversity from sweet potato to barley and rice varieties, while Japanese Gin showcases botanical innovation rooted in centuries of craftsmanship. With this background, I came to the Netherlands to introduce and share the beauty of authentic Japanese spirits with everyone here.
