A. de Fussigny has made Cognac since 1814 in its own distillery in the centre of Cognac, on the banks of the Charente. The river keeps the cellars cool and humid, so the eaux-de-vie age slowly and become soft and rounded.

The house pairs traditional distilling with a modern eye. Its Supérieur is a Fine Champagne blend of Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie, aged longer than a typical VSOP, with notes of dried fruit, candied orange and toasted almond. The Pure Organic VSOP is made only from organically grown Ugni Blanc and aged at least four years in French oak: floral, honeyed and clean.
