Collection: Château du Breuil

Château du Breuil is a 16th-century château in Le Breuil-en-Auge, in the heart of Normandy's Pays d'Auge, and has been listed as a historic monument since 1933. Calvados has been distilled here since 1954, when Philippe Bizouart started making it on the estate.

The estate's own 42 hectares of orchards hold about 22,000 apple trees, and more than 300,000 bottles leave the château each year. Our range runs from the Fine Calvados and VSOP to the 12 Ans and 15 Ans Pays d'Auge, older calvados with deep, ripe apple character.

The house also looks beyond apples: Coeur du Breuil Vieille Prune is a plum spirit, and Le Breuil Smokey Oloroso is a single malt whisky from the château.
