Maxime Trijol

Maxime Trijol is a family distillery in Saint-Martial-sur-Né, on the edge of the Grande and Petite Champagne crus. The family has owned vines and a pot still here since 1859; Maxime Trijol turned it into a full distillery in the 1960s, and Jean-Jacques Trijol runs it today with his daughters.

With 22 traditional copper stills and around 60 hectares of their own vineyards, Trijol is one of the larger independent distillers in the region, but the cognacs remain classic and family-made. The VSOP Grande Champagne is bright and fruity with fine oak, and the Grand Classique VSOP is a smooth, rounded blend for sipping or mixing.
