Metaxa

Metaxa was created in 1888 by Spyros Metaxa in Piraeus, and since 1968 it has been made in Kifissia, north of Athens. It has belonged to Rémy Cointreau since 2000.

Metaxa is a uniquely Greek spirit: aged wine distillates are blended with sweet Muscat wine from Samos, married in Limousin oak casks and finished with Mediterranean botanicals, including rose petals. We stock the 5 Star, 7 Star and 12 Star.
