North British 2008 – Signatory Un-Chillfiltered Collection 18 Y.O.

A rare treat from Signatory’s acclaimed Un-Chillfiltered Collection — and only the second North British grain to appear in this fine series. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2026 after 18 years of maturation in a combination of first-fill sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon barrels, this is soft, sweet whisky at its most compelling.

About North British Distillery
Founded in 1887 in Edinburgh, North British uses maize and green malt and was the first distillery to use a Saladin box for maltings (1948). Located on the far western edge of Edinburgh along the Union Canal, it is Scotland’s second largest grain distillery with a capacity of approximately 64 million litres per year. It supplies blended whiskies including J&B, Famous Grouse, Chivas Regal and Cutty Sark.
