Arran - Barrel Bonfire Edition 2

Arran Barrel Bonfire (Edition 2) is the second release in Arran’s acclaimed Signature Series and a bold step into the world of heavily peated single malt. Crafted with peated malt at 42 ppm, this 11-year-old whisky is matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in small 115L Koval quarter casks, adding intensity, richness, and smoky finesse.

The nose opens with charred citrus peel, toasted hazelnuts, and vanilla cream, followed by layers of orange zest, cinnamon, and lingering campfire smoke on the palate. The influence of the quarter casks brings depth, warmth, and structure, finishing with a beautifully balanced mix of spice, sweet oak, and gentle maritime character.

Bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, this limited-edition expression showcases the peated side of the Isle of Arran in stunning form. Ideal for fans of smoky single malts with complexity and craft behind every sip.
