Big Peat The Peatrichor Edition is a powerful Islay blended malt whisky released by Douglas Laing at cask‑strength (53.8% ABV), celebrating the island’s rainy climate and the earthy scent of peat after rain. It is composed exclusively from single malts distilled on Islay, non‑chill filtered and without added colour, offering raw, smoky intensity with a rugged coastal spirit and deep maritime character.

On the nose, expect damp earth, salty sea air, fresh leather and a hint of lemon zest. The palate is rich with earthy peat smoke, dark chocolate, toffee and sturdy seaside minerals that linger into a long, classic Islay finish.
