Génépi des Pères Chartreux

Génépi des Pères Chartreux is a traditional alpine herbal liqueur produced under the Pères Chartreux name and distributed by Chartreuse Diffusion, drawing on the heritage of the Savoie region's high-altitude génépi (Artemisia) flowers. The botanicals are macerated in neutral spirit and redistilled with additional alpine herbs to produce a liqueur of genuine mountain character.

The colour is a natural golden-green. On the nose, bright green herbs lead with aniseed, black liquorice, caramel, and delicate floral notes. The palate is fragrant and herbaceous — chamomile, feverfew, and lightly bitter high-altitude botanicals — balanced by a restrained sweetness and a clean, warming finish.

Best served chilled at 10–12 °C or over ice as an after-dinner digestif. A precise and elegant expression of Savoie terroir.
