Milroy's Heavily Peated - Virgin Oak

A bold and characterful release from Milroy's of Soho, this heavily peated Lowlands single malt is matured in virgin oak casks, delivering an intriguing contrast of raw, smoky intensity and the fresh, sweet influence of new wood.

The nose opens with waves of bonfire smoke and damp earth, layered with vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of green apple. On the palate, assertive peat smoke gives way to cereal sweetness, cracked black pepper, and a subtle citrus brightness. The finish is long, warming, and persistently smoky with a dry, oaky grip.

Bottled at 46% ABV — full-flavoured and non-chill filtered for maximum character.
