Port Askaig Cask Strength

Port Askaig Cask Strength is an unapologetically bold Islay single malt bottled at full strength (approximately 59.4% ABV) from a small batch of no more than 60 selected casks. The nose opens with bursts of zesty citrus, cracked black pepper, and toasted bread, evolving into richer layers of marmalade, bonfire smoke and sea‑salt brine.

On the palate you'll find fresh lime and salty mineral undertones, followed by charred orange peel, warm nutmeg, creamy vanilla and intense peat smoke. The finish is long, lingering on smoke, spices and rich toffee‑like warmth—a refined yet muscular expression of Islay’s coast.
