Scarabus is Hunter Laing's Islay single malt — a vatted expression drawing from multiple Islay distilleries, crafted with an eye for detail and unapologetically proud of its island origins. The Cigar Malt is exactly what it sounds like: a heavily peated, full-flavoured whisky designed to stand up to the bold, complex aromas of a fine cigar.

Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, it retains its full natural character — rich, smoky, and layered. The ornate rose gold label is as much a statement as the whisky inside: this is a dram for those who take their pleasures seriously.

Tasting notes: Nose: intense peat smoke, sea salt, and coastal brine, with underlying notes of vanilla, dark fruit, and leather. Palate: bold waves of smoke and pepper, dark chocolate, dried fruit, and a hint of espresso. Finish: long, warming, and persistently smoky — the perfect companion to a slow-burning cigar.
