Chartreuse V.E.P. Green — Exceptionally Prolonged Aging
First produced in 1963, Chartreuse V.E.P. (Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) Green is one of the world's most extraordinary liqueurs — crafted each year in strictly limited quantities by the Carthusian monks of the Grande Chartreuse monastery in the French Alps.
Made using the same secret recipe as Chartreuse Verte — a blend of 130 hand-selected alpine plants — the V.E.P. undergoes an extended maturation in oak demi-muids. This prolonged aging coaxes out aromas of exceptional complexity: layered botanicals, warm spice, and a long, silken finish that lingers well beyond the last sip.
