Bock & Herfstbok

Autumn in the Netherlands means herfstbok. Every year brewers release their bock beers: richer, maltier and usually darker than their everyday beers, with notes of caramel, toffee, dried fruit and roasted malt. The style comes from the German bock, a strong lager, and Dutch brewers have made it a tradition of their own.
