Michter's

Michter's traces its roots to 1753, when Swiss settler John Shenk founded a distillery in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania. That distillery closed in 1989. In the 1990s Joseph J. Magliocco and Chatham Imports revived the brand in Louisville, Kentucky, and in 2012 Michter's opened its own distillery in Shively. Since 2015 it has distilled everything in-house.

We stock three bottles from the US*1 range: the Kentucky Straight Bourbon, the Kentucky Straight Rye and the American Whiskey Sour Mash.
