Collection: Spot Whiskeys (Mitchell & Son)

The Spot whiskeys belong to Mitchell & Son of Dublin. William Mitchell opened a bakery and confectionery on Grafton Street in 1805, and the business entered the wine and spirits trade in 1887. Mitchell marked casks of different ages with a spot of coloured paint, which gave the whiskeys their names.

Today the Spots are made for Mitchell & Son at Midleton Distillery in County Cork. We stock Green Spot, Yellow Spot, a 12-year-old pot still whiskey, and Red Spot, aged at least 15 years.

Find the Spot whiskeys in our shop on the Vismarkt in Utrecht, or order online.
