I’m Paer, a Swedish whisky enthusiast based in the Netherlands. I’ve spent more than half my life exploring, collecting, and writing about whisky.

After living 15 years in the UK, I developed a deep appreciation not only for the whiskies themselves but also for the culture that surrounds them – the music, the craftsmanship, the history, and the people who keep these traditions alive. I’m certified by the Edinburgh Whisky Academy and enjoy discovering how distillers around the world interpret this timeless spirit.

For me, whisky is more than a drink – it’s a window into heritage and creativity, where every bottle tells a story shaped by its landscape and its makers.
