Cidre Bouché Fermier Brut — Normandy's Finest

The Cidre Bouché from Maison Toutain is the result of a rigorous selection of apple varieties best suited to its production, crafted in strict accordance with traditional Norman cider-making methods. Every step of the process happens naturally: the clarification of the must, the slow alcoholic fermentation in tank using indigenous yeasts (lasting 1 to 4 months depending on the musts), and a natural secondary fermentation in bottle of at least 3 months.

The result is a cider that is creamy, fruity, and thirst-quenching — both fruity and sweet at the same time, with a fine natural mousse. Perfect to accompany a meal or to be served as an aperitif on its own or in a Kir Normand.

Tasting notes: Fine natural bubbles. The nose is fresh and fragrant with ripe orchard apple. On the palate: smooth, rounded, and gently sweet with lively apple fruit, a touch of brioche from the bottle fermentation, and a clean, refreshing finish.

How to enjoy

  • Serve well chilled as an aperitif
  • Pair with a meal — especially Norman cheeses, pork, or seafood
  • In a Kir Normand: top with a dash of blackcurrant liqueur
  • Can also be used in cooking and sorbets
