Ableforth's Bathtub Gin

Ableforth's Bathtub Gin — Cold Compounded the Old Way

Ableforth's Bathtub Gin 43.3% ABV is a handcrafted English compound gin produced by Ableforth's, reviving a traditional 19th-century method of cold compounding botanicals rather than redistillation. This approach creates a fuller, more textured gin with intense botanical expression — closer to what gin drinkers would have enjoyed two centuries ago.

On the nose, bold juniper leads, supported by vibrant citrus peel, coriander seed, and warm spice. The palate is rich and expressive, delivering concentrated flavour, gentle sweetness, and a long, warming finish that highlights the depth achieved through cold infusion. At 43.3% ABV, Bathtub Gin has the structure to shine in classic cocktails such as Martinis, Negronis, and Gin & Tonics, while remaining smooth enough to enjoy with simple serves.

A cult favourite among bartenders and gin enthusiasts, this is a confident, old-school gin made for drinkers who value depth and character.
