Mafesousa 2023 from Casa da Tojeira is a vibrant, artisanal white wine hailing from the Vinho Verde region’s subzone of Basto in northern Portugal. With a base of hand‑harvested, indigenous grapes such as Fernão Pires (Arinto) and others grown on granite‑clay soils at 250‑350 m elevation, this vintage delivers expressive aromas of tropical fruit and ripe banana paired with natural honeyed undertones.

On the palate, the wine is light yet layered—crisp acidity meets tension, tropical fruits evolve into baked apple and quince, and the finish lingers with mineral clarity and vitality.
