Port from the Douro valley: rich ruby and LBV, nutty 10, 20 and 30-year-old tawnies and crisp white port for a Port & Tonic, from Sequeirinha and Fernão de Magalhães.

Port is a fortified wine from Portugal's Douro valley: grape spirit is added during fermentation, which keeps natural sweetness in the wine and lifts the strength to around 20%. Ruby and LBV ports are aged in large vats or bottle for deep, fruity flavour; tawny ports mature in small casks, developing nutty, caramel and dried-fruit notes; white port is lighter and fresher.

We stock Sequeirinha's Ruby Reserve, LBV 2019, White Reserve and 10, 20 and 30-year-old tawnies, the Fernão de Magalhães ruby, tawny and white ports, and a 100 Years of Tawny Port gift box. Serve tawny slightly chilled with cheese or dessert, ruby with dark chocolate, and white port with tonic and ice for a refreshing Porto Tónico.
