Château de Montifaud Vieux Pineau des Charentes Blanc is an elegant fortified wine from the Cognac region, crafted by the Vallet family’s sixth-generation estate. Blending equal parts Ugni Blanc, which contributes finesse and brightness, and Colombard, known for its fruity persistence, this aperitif is enriched with high-quality eau‑de‑vie de Cognac and aged in oak until it achieves the “Vieux” classification.
In the glass, it reveals alluring aromas of dried fruits, almond, and honey, with underlying notes of floral fruit and prune that add depth. On the palate, it strikes a beautiful balance between freshness and sweetness—refreshing acidity meets lush fruitiness—leading to a clean and elegant finish. Serve it well-chilled (around 5 °C) as an aperitif or alongside soft cheeses and light desserts.
