Collection: Amaro & Herbal Liqueurs

Bittersweet amari and herbal liqueurs, from Italian amaro and Fernet-Branca to Chartreuse, Bénédictine and Dutch kruidenbitter. Perfect as a digestif or the backbone of a great cocktail.

Amaro means "bitter" in Italian, and that bittersweet balance is what ties this family together. These liqueurs are made by infusing herbs, roots, bark, citrus peel and spices in alcohol, then sweetening and often ageing them. Traditionally they are drunk after dinner as a digestif, but bartenders love them as a cocktail backbone too.

Discover Italian amari like Nonino Quintessentia, Cynar, Santa Maria and Rossi D'Angera; French classics such as Green Chartreuse, Bénédictine, Suze and génépi; Fernet-Branca, Becherovka and Jägermeister Manifest; and Dutch and Frisian kruidenbitters. Sip them neat or over ice with an orange twist, lengthen with tonic or soda, or use them in a Negroni, Boulevardier or Last Word.
