Collection: Akashi (Eigashima Shuzo)
Akashi whisky is made by Eigashima Shuzo in Akashi, Hyogo, on the coast near Kobe and the Seto Inland Sea. The family has made sake for more than three centuries, and in 1919 it received what is described as Japan's first whisky licence. Its White Oak distillery, renamed Eigashima Distillery in 2019, began serious malt production in 1984 with copper pot stills.
We stock the Akashi Blended, Akashi Meisei and the Meisei Deluxe Sherry Cask, plus the Akashi Umeshu, a plum whisky liqueur.
Find Akashi in our shop on the Vismarkt in Utrecht, or order online.
